Our Fee Structure

Transparent, straightforward fees — explained clearly before any engagement begins.

How Our Fees Work

Private Signature Care charges a single placement fee per successful placement. There are no registration fees, no search fees, and no charges if a placement is not made. Our fee is payable only on confirmation of a placement.

All fees are quoted exclusive of VAT. A detailed fee schedule and our Client Terms and Conditions are provided before any engagement begins. We do not begin a search until the fee structure has been agreed in writing.

Indicative rangeTypically 15–18% of first-year gross salaryLive-in and live-out placements quoted at the same rate. Au pair placements at a reduced fixed rate.

Indicative rangeTypically 15–20% of first-year gross salaryHousehold Couple placements calculated on combined gross salary.

All fees are indicative and subject to individual quotation. A written fee schedule is provided before any engagement begins.

Guarantee & Rebate

All permanent placements are covered by a rebate period. Should a placement end within the guarantee period for reasons covered by our Client Terms and Conditions, we will conduct a replacement search at no additional charge, or provide a pro-rata rebate of the original fee.

Full terms are set out in our Client Terms and Conditions, provided before engagement begins. The guarantee does not apply to temporary or short-term placements.

0–4 weeksFull replacement search or 100% rebate
5–8 weeksReplacement search or 75% rebate
9–12 weeksReplacement search or 50% rebate
After 12 weeksNo rebate — replacement search at reduced fee

Additional Notes

VAT

All fees are quoted exclusive of VAT. VAT is charged at the prevailing rate where applicable.

International placements

International placements may attract an additional fee to cover the additional vetting, legal, and logistical requirements involved. This is agreed in advance and set out in writing.

Payment terms

Fees are invoiced on confirmation of placement and are payable within 14 days of invoice. We accept bank transfer.

No placement, no fee

We do not charge for searches that do not result in a placement. If we are unable to find a suitable candidate, no fee is payable.
