Private Signature Care is a service division of Uganda Muslim Diaspora CIC, a Community Interest Company registered in England and Wales (CIC 17345186). References to "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to Uganda Muslim Diaspora CIC trading as Private Signature Care.

We collect personal data that you provide to us directly, including: your name, email address, telephone number, and any other information you include in an enquiry or application form submitted through this website.

For candidates applying to join our register, we may collect additional information including employment history, qualifications, references, and the results of background checks (including DBS checks) where relevant to a placement.

We also collect limited technical data when you visit our website, including your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, through standard server logs and analytics tools.

We use personal data provided through client enquiry forms to respond to your enquiry, assess your requirements, and provide our staffing and placement services.

We use personal data provided through candidate application forms to assess your suitability for our register, conduct vetting and background checks, and introduce you to prospective client households where appropriate.

We do not use your personal data for marketing purposes without your explicit consent. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We process personal data on the following legal bases under UK GDPR: (a) contract — where processing is necessary to perform a contract with you or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract; (b) legitimate interests — where we have a legitimate business interest in processing your data that is not overridden by your rights; and (c) consent — where you have given us explicit consent to process your data for a specific purpose.

We retain personal data for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Client enquiry data is retained for up to 3 years from the date of last contact. Candidate data is retained for up to 5 years from the date of last contact or the end of any placement, whichever is later.

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. We will respond to deletion requests within 30 days.

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; object to or restrict our processing of your data; and request that we transfer your data to another organisation (data portability).
